EdTech software development for schools and learning companies
Schools, training organizations, and edtech startups need software that is easy for every kind of user and careful with student data. We build learning and administrative platforms that meet both bars.
Engineering for the realities of education & edtech
Accessibility for every learner
Interfaces built toward WCAG 2.1 AA so students and staff using assistive technology get a first-class experience.
Student data privacy
Access controls, data minimization, and retention policies designed to support FERPA and state student-privacy obligations.
Plays well with existing systems
Integrations with student information systems, single sign-on, and LMS standards so new tools fit into the school’s ecosystem.

Education & EdTech software: common questions
Don’t see your question? Ask a senior engineer directly.
Does FERPA or COPPA apply to our edtech product?
Often both. FERPA governs education records that schools share with you under their agreements; COPPA applies to online services directed at children under 13 or that knowingly collect their data. Which applies depends on your users and how students sign in, so we design data flows around that answer with your counsel.
What changed with COPPA in 2026?
The FTC’s amended COPPA Rule took effect with a compliance deadline of April 22, 2026. Changes include separate verifiable parental consent for disclosing children’s data to third parties and a required written data-retention policy.
Should we build a custom LMS or extend an existing one?
If your needs are mostly courses, enrollment, and grading, extending an established LMS through standards like LTI is usually faster. A custom platform makes sense when your learning model, certification rules, or business model is the product.
Can you integrate with our SIS, single sign-on, and LTI tools?
Yes. Schools expect rostering from the student information system, Google or Microsoft sign-in, and LTI compatibility, and we build those in from the start.
